I saw a meme on my SM the other day. It was a tongue in cheek one from a financial/mortgage adviser saying 'telling my client that they need a £60k payraise because the mortgage deal they got in 2021 is about to end'

It made me think of you/your thread and how sensible of you to think all this through at the beginning of last year and take steps towards dealing with it.

Aww thank you. I had to really, just to be able to afford it. Im glad i fixed my rate when i did otherwise i dont think i would be able to afford it. The cost of living is crazy at the minute unfortunately, it is destroying many lives, it's really sad to see.
