Ebay selling and class 2 contributions

Due to sales in excess of the £1000 allowance online, I have applied for sole trader status with HMRC. I sell approximately £2k to £3k per annum.
Whilst doing so, I noticed that I also applied for class 2 NI contributions, which as far as I can see is not compulsory.
My question is whether is is worth paying this reduced contribution which I believe to be £182 per annum in my situation.
I will be 62 in June 2025 and retired from work at the age of 59. I have no intention of returning to employment and my NI contributions are:
42 years full contributions.
2 years no contributions.
My pension forecast is that I cannot increase my pension. Even if the government increased years of contributions for 35 ish, I still have a few years wriggle room.
It appears that it is not worth paying anymore NI, but I don't want to miss out on this reduced cost.

If you are already at the full pension there is no point paying for more. It is highly unlikely the goalposts will be moved with less than 10 years notice and then payment arrangements would be put in place as with the 2016 pension changes.
