I remember seeing a recipe on the beeb for damson cobbler - perhaps it would work with regular plums as well?4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Afternoon all,I'm sure it would RT. Tend to be a crumble household here, but only through force of habit - should try a cobbler. At least with the plums, I don't need to find immediate uses for them - I'm practiced at bottling now and if there's enough I'll bottle and jam.Had a frustrating morning work-wise, but have now made progress. Just about to stop for lunch and then will get the last bit done before we head off to see Oasis.Managed to plant the last broccoli plants yesterday - 10 of them. There's another courgette that will be ready tomorrow. I sowed some more carrot seeds at the weekend - am trying to keep the ground full as far as possible so that it's as productive as possible. Have chopped and frozen the four portions of tofu I bought yesterday (it's better when it's been frozen in any case).Our pre-install visit from Octopus is booked in for tomorrow afternoon.MS things:
* Clicks and HW - now 2p off of VB payout threshold. It'll keep building once I reach and payout will be the 2nd Tuesday of next month
* PA surveys - several more this morning, now at £36 cleared
* 1P surveys - am trying to keep momentum up here
* Mr MV about to arrive home from work for lunch - we'll be having avocado on toast, just to ring the differences from dinner 😆
* Yoghurt wasn't great, but we'll use it up (too much milk powder I think) - might bake with it if necessaryGratitudes:
* Teamwork with main client and the other colleague (who is usually a pain, but has been helpful with this project)
* Openreach finally sent an actual Openreach employee to sort out fibre connection out - he was (as all Openreach folk in my experience are) lovely and it is now all sorted and working
* Early finish today and get to enjoy Wembley's hospitality as well as Oasis - so excited!Have a good afternoon all!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Thanks RT.The gig was epic. I don't remember the last time (if ever), I've been to such a good one. Quite possibly it was the best I've ever been to. The private box was rather nice too - pity I mustn't get used to such things. The best bit was having our own private toilet (with hand lotion!) between 12 of us - no crowds, no queuing, no gross toilet. The company and food were excellent too, as was our waiter, who kept our glasses topped up at all times! But it really wouldn't have mattered where we were in the stadium - the music was the best bit. It was a very late night in the end though - we didn't get home until 2am (a combination of staying afterwards in the box to avoid the crowds, me missing a tube train and then our train being 15 mins late and then having to go the long way round because of engineering works). This morning has been a rather gentle one for obvious reasons.I am gently cracking on with work. Main client sent a whole load through last night, so I've got plenty to get on with. Lots of queries too though, which is annoying given the time difference.Am expecting the 🐙installer to turn up shortly to have a look at some things. Not really sure I'm functioning enough to have an intelligent conversation, but hopefully Mr MV will be able to get out of meetings briefly to do that.MS things:
* Clicks and HW done - at payout on VB and have discovered the system has changed - I could (and might) take it now.
* Brought home two small bags of popcorn (given to us for the journey) - will take those as snacks at some point (although it's Oasis/Wembley branded, so probably could sell for a profit!)
*Will go and feed a cat soon - and I've received the payment for looking after him (via CIAF, whereas most of mine are now direct clients)
Gratitudes:
* A-ma-zing night last night
* Met some lovely people
* Not a lot planned for today!Have a good afternoon all!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

For some reason, the thought of selling (branded) popcorn for profit has me in stitches! I'd have wolfed it down by now!

Thanks Beanie!
RT, for your amusement - I agree it’s a ridiculous proposition, but people would buy it I’m sure…Not sure if you’re familiar with Roy Keane’s ‘prawn sandwiches’ comment (about the posh people eating in hospitality at football matches - the actual language definitely not repeatable here), but this is definitely the equivalent - can’t imagine the Gallaghers signed off on this!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
