And since it is only now that they say they want us to log in 15 minutes early, I may be excluded, since I will have to get back from a GP appointment - which I will do easily for 5pm, but not necessarily for 4:45pm.

Regarding clocks having gone forward in the US: for anyone who does the live Daily Trivia, remember that these will be at midnight for the next 3 weeks, instead of 1am.

Yes. It was about 10 pm yesterday that they mentioned logging in 10-15 minutes ahead of the start.
And now they mention completing on-boarding questions before getting to the waiting room.
And they send a link to watch a video about how to deal with the survey. That requires age verification. I tried the selfie route and it couldn't verify. (I'm almost 80 so I would have thought it fairly easy.) Alternative methods are using official government ID (plus a selfie) or a credit (not debit) card. I'm not sure I want to give out my credit card details and certainly not my passport.
Has anyone accessed the video? Is it worth watching? How did you verify your age?
Given that yesterday they wrote, "No microphone or webcam is necessary; this is a text chat. " It seems over the top to require photo ID to see a video - does it contain pornographic images?

Well, 4 minutes past the 4.45 pm (except they think it is 3.45 pm apparently), all places taken. Unless, of course, they decided they didn't want my views anyway. Glad I didn't waste time on that video nor provide passport or credit card information.

I got here at 4:45 precisely, clicked on the link and joined the session. I watched their video (well, I read the transcript) - I wasn't asked for age verification. I went back to the first screen and answered the profiling questions. And then I was told "We're sorry! We have reached capacity for this conversation, we hope to see you in future conversations."

sounds like a real damp squib band a waste of time

I got that far with the "onboarding" questions - I had clicked through straight away from the 4:44 email.
Was there a transcript when you followed the session link or did you try the separate (vimeo, I think) website?
Next time, if there is another next time and I can be bothered to sign up, I won't go out of my way to make a point of being at home for the scheduled time.
