Civil Service ill health pension query

Hello all, I hope we are all well. Just wondering something I am currently receiving a Civil Service ill health retirement pension, upper tier. I am hoping maybe at some point my health will improve a little to allow me to work or study (which hopefully lead into work). I know the rules of the scheme if you work again in paid employment that doesn't pay into a similar penion scheme then pension will be downgraded to a lower tier. Does anyone know is it roughly a third of what the current higher tier rate is?

An upper tier award enhances pension at the date of leaving to the amount it would be if you had continued to work until Normal Pension age, and pays that amount without reduction from date of leaving.
A lower tier award pays the amount of accrued pension at date of leaving from the date of leaving, without reduction.
Depending on personal circumstances, the percentage of the lower tier award relative to the upper tier award could be just about anything - the older the individual at date of leaving, the higher the percentage will be.0 -
I'm 38, hence I hope my health will improve again allowing me to re-engage with working life again some day. I was in the Civil Service about 12 years. When I got the lower tier quotes what I paid to date and what I got after taking maximum lump sum, the lower tier amount was then roughly a third of what my higher tier amount was. But the amount of supper tier pension before taking lump sum was actually alot higher, nearly x5 from memory, so i assume my lower tier amount would be much lower than the thrid0

Also actually one more thing... I'm on Alpha and nuvos. I have my first review coming up in 2026. I once contacted the department and obtained a copy of the questionnaire the GP completes as part of the review and I have to say I was surprised at how simplistic simplistic it is. Does anyone have experience if the actual review, is the actual experience straight forward enough? I've been told by someone I know who also receives it, that the review aren't difficult, but this worry is always in the back of my mind.0
