Dividends notification on accumulation funds

I received messages in an AJ Bell ISA about dividends that were paid on a couple of my funds. However these are accumulation funds so I guess the message is for information purposes only? I would only need this information if it was in a taxable account?
I am holding some of the same fund in Interactive Investor SIPP but I did not get any message from them about it.
I am guessing that AJ Bell send you this info even if the fund is in a tax wrapper, but II only sends it to you if it's in a GIA?

Can't say wrt AJBell, but the only information from II (having a SIPP & ISA) AFAIK comes in the regular statements, which do include any dividend payments from inc units. I guess in a non-taxable account, it's the unit cost of the acc units that are of interest. Otherwise, the fund manager's website should provide the required data.0 -

I also get them from AJ Bell. The ones I get relate to Acc funds or my one MMF. They are just for information.

I have been with several platforms, and only AJ Bell have done this. About a decade ago, I questioned them on it, and the answer I got was to the effect that 'everyone does it', and that I was naive in not expecting the statement.
I guess it helps those with unsheltered acc funds calculate their tax....0
