I joined Ipsos in Nov after reading MSE reviews of best surveys. However, I've not been sent any to complete.  My profile is 100% complete and I've not opted out of notifications etc.

You have to log in and see whats available. They dont message or email.
Takes an eternity to login over a minute and again to get at any surveys. Surveys usually very slow to load each page, reopterted dozens of times. Soon as i eventually reach cashout i am junking it again, used to be alright 8 years or more ago.
  • I took part in multiple surveys and gained points to earn a reward of £10. When I went to redeem my reward it was stating I did not have enough points.

I raised this as an issue with the support team only to receive a reply stating I didn't meet their requirements and my account had been closed. I was then no longer able to access my account. Thankfully I had taken screenshots to send to support.

I took part in over 10 surveys roughly around 15-20 minutes at a time which was all for nothing.

I have been part of Ipsos I say for several years now. Up to last year I was getting regular surveys - almost every day and was getting £5 Amazon voucher every month. I was always notified about the surveys by e mail. Then the surveys totally dried up. I deleted my account and set up a new one - again regular surveys for a while, then totally dried up again. When I log into my account it always says that there are no surveys available. Think I will give up on them now!
  • I don't have any problems with them, I got £45 off them last month for very little effort and am just about to get my 4th £5 Paypal amount for this month, received a couple of free products to test as well.

Great little passive income for me.

Weirdness - I have been doing surveys for a while and the last time I got to £30 I redeemed my rewards without any issue. Now I have a further £40 to redeem but not been sent any surveys for a month (and the webpage has been saying "new surveys coming soon" the whole time when I login.

Just tried to redeem my points and every option I choose (eg Amazon, Paypal, Argos etc) it goes to the page but there is no redeem button. So it's either broken or they have disabled the ability to redeem points…

Ah - I seem to have been profiled out - their AI bot customer service response came back and said

"We conduct ongoing comprehensive reviews of our clients' research needs. Regretfully, we recently found that your member profile does not align with our current requirements"

But even so they are surely on dodgy ground withholding points I earned legitimately in return for my time and data. Let's see what push back I can achieve on that point

Update - having sent them this

I understand your decision to discontinue my account, and accept this. However, this does not address the 4668 points I have already earned through completed surveys.

I believe that you are obligated to redeem my points that I earned before you decided that my "profile does not align with our current requirements".

These rewards were earned in good faith. I also note that your FAQ states: “We will always deliver the rewards and prizes that we promise.” This formed part of my expectation when participating in surveys.

Withholding earned rewards in these circumstances appears inconsistent with your stated commitments and raises concerns regarding fairness under UK consumer protection law (namely the Consumer Rights Act 2015)

In light of this, I would like to understand how I can redeem my existing balance, or have the equivalent value paid out.

I would appreciate a clear response on this point from an actual human. Failing that I am happy to submit a Subject Access Request under UK GDPR to further help me understand why you have terminated my account and are refusing to honour my points

They have now miraculously re-activated my account and allowed me to redeem my points, apologised and are claiming that it was a mistake made by "automated review" 🙄

Great outcome! Thanks for the update, Shows that it's worth pushing back. They deactivated my account for no discernable reason a few years ago but I'd just redeemed most of my points so didn't bother following up.

They also deactivated my account around this time last year after getting close to cashing out with a £5 Amazon voucher but getting no surveys - I contacted them with a version of stevedresden's message above and after a couple of days they messaged me back confirming my account had been permanently cancelled but would send me the £5 Amazon voucher.
