Finishing September on 16/10 please cathybird - as always, thank you so much for looking after us all - it is very much appreciated 👏.
@Season_of_Mist - your post made for very interesting reading - I can only second what @cathybird said and that you are drinking on so few days, I don’t think giving up completely is going to help you any more health-wise and it would be a shame to miss out on those very few occasions when you would like to enjoy a drink with your friends/family.
Just a shout out to my ‘target buddy’ @maman - you have smashed it out of the park this month - well done 👍6 -
Finishing September on 9/14 - thanks ever so much for scoring for us all Cathybird.
seaon of mist, thanks for your thought provoking post. I don't feel able to comment on your amazing scores but i don't see a huge benefit in going from <5% drinking days to 0%. Especially because it can be nice in life to occasionally drink for special occasions.

25/24 please Cathybird. Thanks for keeping score and posting how we are doing on the annual challenge - it's very motivating to see those AFDs adding up. Season_of_mist, I would love to do what you do and just have the occasional drink on special occasions. I take it that it wasn't always that easy or else you wouldn't have been here in the first place, so it is quite inspirational what you have achieved.5

27/25 to bring September to a close please. And we flutter into October which is jam packed with family birthdays, sadly some of them heavenly birthdays. Sister, brother (heavenly), mum (heavenly), son, ex, plus loads of cousins.
My cold started lifting after lunch, which I'm pleased about, although I spent the morning cancelling various activities for tomorrow and Thursday. Ah well, can't be helped. I did a precautionary Covid test and it wasn't positive, hurray. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?6 -
30 for me please Cathybird.
thank you!My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

I finished the month on 23/20 It is getting easier. On those days i did drink it was less, gone are the binges with multiple bottles. Having read seasonofmist and following comments I did think that whilst I would like to be AF I think I would miss the odd glass with friends so AF is not for me but this new found "much less" and "no binges" is sensible. There was a small glass x 2 in a bottle in the fridge from the weekend so last night we had a glass each. A nice amount to end the month. I am happy with that.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4
