Hi all, I would like to join you please.
@cathybird please will you put me down for an annual target of 300 days, and a January target of 28 days.
Setting myself a tough target but I want to lose weight, and not waste my savings or evenings on alcohol.

I'd like to join if possible! Let's go with two weeks. I don't drink at home but I am prone to going out with friends in my old town, which ends up being really bad for my budget. My last drink was new years day at about 4am.
So yeah, 14 day initial target!8 -

Just a thought to put in here.....I work at a food bank and we do get some people who come in that are well beyond being worse for the drink. Chap came in today who is normally a shuffling wreck, mumbling, bleary. Today he was clean, coherent and a pleasant person to talk to. He was nice to everyone, wished them a happy new year, said how nice it was to see us all. He said he hadn't stopped drinking but had cut way back. It's people like that that I hold in my mind. I'm not a drinker they way he was but I think I could be a better, more pleasant person occasionally.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards.
