I'm going to step out of regular checking for December though because I'm finding this time so stressful, instead I am going to focus on no more than half a bottle of wine or one bottle of something less strong if I drink. I've realised I'm frayed out. I know the wine does not help but it is there in the fridge at this time of year too often.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!6 -
I managed an AF social dinner last night (two pints of lime & soda), and will be AF tonight, so I've reached 10/25 today please. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?5

@Vanlady I found that too! When I first started this challenge years ago I was doing 10 AFDs a month and it was a struggle (though I guess you'd expect that to start with?). At a later point though I went to 20 a month and when I did that I inexplicably found it easier. I think when you do a lower amount drinking can still sometimes be a habit, and it's still a decision/battle every night, but the higher targets mean non-drinking starts to become the habit and you no longer have such a battle because it's as though you've already decided. That's how I found it, anyway. xx
