I feel your pain - we can all have those type of days where everything feels a battle. A bubble bath and wine seems like a pretty good combo.
Is it the type of work you aren't liking or just the environment?
Also irrespective of whether you think your threads gain traction, I find this place such a good place to jot your stuff down to be accountable to yourself1 -
@FootyFanDan I think its the environment side of things, I was promised I would learn new things etc I've been there since may and learnt nothing new.
Oh I totally agree, I'm going to make sure I keep my thread updated as much as I remember to! Since doing my declutter since yesterday I've sold 6 items that have sat in my spare room!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Afternoon/evening? On this wet and windy Sunday! I'm currently making lunches for work as i find myself always running to the local garage around the corner and I end up paying £8 a time! So I'm currently making Thai prawn curry for Monday and Tuesday, Sausage and mash for Wednesday Thursday and making sandwiches for Friday!

September already?! Another wet and windy day here, I'm at work until 4pm today. I started listening to a new podcast called The mindset mentor, its really helpful so far and its giving me the motivation to sort my life out. The first thing I'm going to try is getting up an hour earlier than needs be to give myself "me time" for the first hour of my day and also trying to drink a pint of lemon water when I wake up first thing in the morning!
I also want to start going to the gym, I enjoy running but with this beautiful British weather I cant really do it outside.
Ive been determined to declutter my spare room also, I've got rid of 2 black bags of rubbish, I've decluttered 50/1000 things.
Goals for by Christmas
Declutter 1000 items
Clear the room of doom
Drink more water- aim of 3L per day.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Afternoon/evening.. anyone noticing its getting darker earlier? Or is it just due to the rubbish rainy weather?!
Ive drank 2L of water today so far, I'm still aiming for my 3L. I made a conscious effort to actually get straight out of my work clothes as soon as I came home and got changed into jeans and a top. I usually get into my pjs but I'm trying to stop living in workwear or my pjs! I also gained some motivation from my new podcast I'm listening too, so I'm going to lay out my clothes for the rest of the week so I dont have to think about it in the morning or when I come home from work. I plan on getting up at 5.15am tomorrow, I need to leave for work at 6.25am to get there for 7am. But I want to be able to just have some me time before work, its the only time I'm actually on my own as my OH is usually still asleep.
Debt wise I'm going to sit down during this week and make a proper plan for how much I truly owe and how much I can afford to pay extra too, as well as how much I can put away for savings as we're going on holiday soon. I have a money tin that I know has over £200 in there.
Im feeling more positive than one of my previous posts, I think it was just one of those days. I plan on sitting down and writing out some goals for myself, I want to set a target to get rid of some weight, eat healthier and get to the gym. If I write them down on paper I know ill stick to them better than me just saying I'm going to do them.
Anyways, speak later and thanks for far for all the support!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Great that you seem to have been given some additional motivation from the podcast. I think it might be that time of the year where everyone is doing some reflection and just might feel a bit meh. Hopefully the positive mindset and the you time in the morning makes a big impact.1

Okay so last post before bed, goals!
1. Lose a stone in weight
2. Run a 5k, more than likely going to be in the gym and using the Runkeep app!
3. Sleep better, wake up earlier

Morning morning!
A rather dark and wet September day again! First day of waking up earlier than needs be and I feel a little sleepy but it will help me in the long run, I need to do it consistently for 21 days! So I write this post as i sip on my coffee!
Ive checked my bank this morning and I've actually got more money in there than I thought, I usually just let all payments go out and choose to ignore my bank! But I'm trying to not spend anything that I dont need to spend on. £50 automatically went into my savings.
Today's to do's
Aim to drink 3L water
List more items on Vinted
Do some surveys on lunch break
Also, one of my goals is to do a 5k either in the gym or outside, I'm thinking of maybe starting to fit in a run before work, but with it being rather dark in the morning I think I'm going to have to invest in a torch as its very very dark in the mornings currently! I also want to do my run as its free whereas the gym is £25 per month!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards.
