Hi,
I am hoping to receive some advicse.
I have the message below indicating I need to pay £459.65 to make my contributions for the year 2006-2007 complete. I am 38 years old.
Is it worth me making this voluntary payment?
Many thanks

"You have contributions from Paid employment: £111.88
Pay a voluntary contribution of £459.65 by 5 April 2025. This shortfall may increase after 5 April 2025"

It is telling you that you can make the payment, not that you need to.
Given your age it is highly unlikely it will help you achieve the standard State Pension but unless you post details of what you have accrued to date that's impossible for anyone on here to say.0 -
Not really. You have another 30 years to fill your pension, it would only be worth it if close to retirement.
