Anyone had any luck opening  the Monthly Saver?
I keep getting "Something went wrong" message.
    Tried since Thursday

They have quite stringent rules about opening a new account if you have previously had one which you've closed early; is this the case?  I've had some problems with them in the past where I closed one about 7/8 months early to "refresh" it, as I've heard people calling it on here; I wasn't able to open a new one for a while, about 4/5 months if I remember correctly.

Although they're the same banking group as Halifax and Lloyds, they don't operate in the same way, as the patronising customer service person took great delight in telling me!
No, it matured Thursday 23rd October, but thanks.

    BoS/Lloyds
The way around it is to "upgrade" instead of "close" and you should be able to "refresh" despite the 12 month rule.
I didn't close it. It matured into an Access Saver, so no chance to refresh.

    BoS Monthly Saver

I wonder whether it will allow you open another Monthly Saver tomorrow (Monday)? Failing that, would removing cookies / cache for the BoS website and then re-applying help at all..?

No, it lets me apply for other accounts OK. Looks like a phone call on Monday if it still doesn't play ball then.

I didn't realise Scottish building society had an app until I read it on this thread. However logged in via an sms and it didn't seem to show accounts only a facility to message them. Anyone managed to view their RS on it? If so how.
As you've found out it's just a messaging, uploading documents app, there is no way to view savings accounts with them
