If previous instances when accounts have been discovered in this way are anything to go by I would expect Principality BS's staff not to have a clue until the day of launch. When I phoned them to enquire about their RS Issue 33 a few days before it was launched they didn't even know there was going to be an issue 33.

I just posted it more as a heads up, there's a regular saver coming, details TBC.

I applied via the website as a 'new' customer and within a couple of hours it's sitting alongside my existing RS.

Simply writing this (using old-tech ink is fine) on a normal envelope will work -

Manchester BS and Newcastle BS Monument

Just signed up for these two RS. Pretty much identical. Not the highest rate at 5.5%, but the max deposit of £500 and the 2 year duration swayed it for me.

Still waiting on account details as I'm a new customer.
The application forms were identical too pretty much! Are these two BS linked?
