Haven't checked the Scottish BS ID list but usually banks accept an HMRC letter as ID - sending this and a bill or bank statement doesn't seem too valuable to post.0

I don't know - you could ask them. I'd think it unlikely they'd accept a digitally altered image, but you never know. Sending by post is typically more secure than email.20122013 said:

Am I right that I can withdraw funds from this with no interest or other penalty. The rate is no longer as competitive at 6% and I need the funds for other regular savers.0 -

Scottish BSVariable - details now on their website.It's been years since Scottish BS offered a decent RS rate. Wonder if it's fixed?3
