    Phoned CS today, spoke to Charli who was extremely helpful. My account is working good but unable to access my hubby’s app & whatever we tried couldn’t get it to work, so has been sent to the digital team to resolve. However what she did do was open the 7% RS over the phone for my hubby as she said it’s not his fault he couldn’t open it in the app. If anyone else is still experiencing difficulty in accessing the app, give them a call and you can open it over the phone. App might be buggy but can’t fault the CS, especially Charli 😁

    Yeh. I tried with their  recent 6% one and it just bounced back 2 days later

    I have ended up with x2 issue 8.  One is working, made two deposits already, but the other one bounced deposits back (Ive made 2 attempts, no luck).  The 'illegitimate" account is still showing on my app, I might make another attempt, but I think this account is dead.

    I have ended up with x2 issue 8.  One is working, made two deposits already, but the other one bounced deposits back (Ive made 2 attempts, no luck).  The 'illegitimate" account is still showing on my app, I might make another attempt, but I think this account is dead.

    I have the same issue - although I've only discovered the duplicate account when applying for this new App Exclusive account.

    Interestingly (to me at least) the extra one shows my previous MBS name (with a hypen), and the other (which I got given the details for and funded) has the new name (without the hypen). The new App Exclusive account also uses the new name.

    All the old accounts have the old name (with hyphen).

    I wonder if someone could confirm please that the sort code / account number for this new account is the same as for the previous RS? I finally managed to open it but then the app timed and I've not got any emails, but it's showing on my account page.
    I've got:

    40-05-30
    14576608

    And use the 10 digit MonBS acc no as the reference?

    Correct. In common with lots of the smaller institutions it uses a common collection account and then identifies your account specifically with the reference.

    Managed to open my Monmouthshire BS RS at first attempt, inside 10 minutes.

    Was I lucky? 🤔

    Funds sent. Will no doubt appear at some stage.

    Need to contact support to add nominated account for any withdrawal though as no longer have the previously associated one.

    So after managing to get the app to work and opening  the app only Exclusive RS 7%.
    If l put the account number  into my online portal and it shows, will l be able to ditch the app for access and operating  the account online only?
