I won`t be going as far as flaneurs_lobster and adding in £250 today to the RS!
See? I knew that £250 would come in handy! No need to close the existing RS. I opened the new RS3 online. Transferred 250 from RS1 to RS3. Took 5 minutes.3 -
Online chat telling me my Virgin Money Regular Saver has converted to everyday savers but won't update in app until close of business today, hmm1

Thanks for this. I'm currently on my dinner break at work so haven't got access to my laptop. I shall update the first page of this thread to reflect this and the launch of new issues if the Chorley regular savers this evening.jaypers said:Am I missing something or have Virgin launched a new Regular Saver paying 6.5%

You have to empty the account first. Can move it all to easy access or withdraw all.friolento said:jaypers said:How do I close my Virgin RS? I’ve logged into online banking and the only closure form I can find says ‘Current Account’ closure. TIA.
That's the form you use, with the sort code and account number of your matured (or not yet matured) RS.0 -
Seems you can because apparently the 10% has matured it's just the name hasn't updated yet but will at close of business, also people seem to have opened the new 1 & funded itMiddle_of_the_Road said:

Why would someone choose that Virgin Money 6.5% RS over say the Co-Op 7% RS? Or is it a case people are opening both?0
