we’re getting in touch because your Regular Saver Exclusive, earning 10.38% AER1/10.00% Gross2, matures on 31 July 2025. It will then become an Everyday Saver, earning 1.75% AER1/1.74% Gross2 (variable), from 1 August 2025.3 -
Oh man, I should have checked this thread before contacting VM over the phone to close my RS. The handler said that the closure team are inundated with requests so it might take until early next week , due to the weekend approaching.
For future reference, was it instant when you closed it online (closure and receiving the interest)?1 -
Virgin Money Exclusive RS Issue3
I have opened this today and initially funded with £250.
The interest rate is fixed at 6.50% until maturity.
All accounts will mature on 28th August 2026. This is a Friday of a bank holiday weekend (may cause problems next year).
NOTE: - all interest will be paid on the maturity date (no quarterly payments as applied with Issue 1)8 -

I won`t be going as far as flaneurs_lobster and adding in £250 today to the RS!
See? I knew that £250 would come in handy! No need to close the existing RS. I opened the new RS3 online. Transferred 250 from RS1 to RS3. Took 5 minutes.3 -
Online chat telling me my Virgin Money Regular Saver has converted to everyday savers but won't update in app until close of business today, hmm1
