So it seems that some don't and some do......rather strange but, this is Virgin so, perhaps not so strange !0

This is all news to me. I don't do apps and originally opened a Virgin current account, which I don't use, to get an exclusive ISA. Later I got the regular saver. No knowledge at all of a Virgin Security key/device, I just assumed I'd be able to transfer money out in reasonably large amounts as with other current accounts I've held.subjecttocontract said:I'm puzzled,
Why would someone open a Virgin account and not ensure they have either the Virgin App or a Virgin Security key/device to enable withdrawals ?0 -
I have RSs in 82 and 05 and only one phone, so I have to operate one of the profiles online. The way around it is to keep reinstalling the app, but I'd rather withdraw in portions. I think I should be able to withdraw £2k on 1st and the rest on 2nd August. I used to have Clydesdale keyfob, but can't find it and I'm not sure if it will work if found, it's very oldmon3ysav3r said:

Don't you need one or the other to login on Virgin online banking site anyway.
- 08-xx-xx sort code with 7 character customer ID
- 05-xx-xx sort code with 10 character customer number
- 82-xx-xx sort code with 10 character customer number
I have multiple accounts with the first 08-xx and last 82-xx sort codes and have never needed an App or Keyfob to login

Monmouthshire BS RS8Following my online application on Friday I have just got the following in an email...Thank you for applying for a new account with Monmouthshire Building Society.Due to high demand, we’re currently working through a large number of applications. Online applications are typically processed within 5 working days.Want to skip the wait? You can now open your account instantly using our new Monmouthshire Building Society App. Applying on the app will override your current online application.Like many, I had problems on Friday opening this account. I first applied online. Got no confirmation email. Then applied again, successfully, with the App.4

Most likely for those of us who received that email (and didn't get an account opened for them in the first day or two) they'll be checking and dropping applications if people have already got an account set up.charlie12525 said:Want to skip the wait? You can now open your account instantly using our new Monmouthshire Building Society App. Applying on the app will override your current online application.Like many, I had problems on Friday opening this account.
