Like most of you, I found the MBS app a nightmare. So much info needed to be given and I lost count how many codes went back and forth. Yes it's working ok now but what a pain in the butt that was.
Crikey, what would you call an actual nightmare?

I note that the specifics of this account say that the funds should reach your account by the 25th of the month. Is there any reason for this?  If I open and fund it today, does anybody know whether it cause any issue?  I can't see why it should, but would welcome experience.

I've opened and funded on the 30th before and then again on the 1st with no problems

It's just to protect your standing orders from failing due to weekends and bank holidays
You will be fine, remember to set your standing orders to the 1st of the month to maximise your interest and be able to make 13 payments

Its just to guard against non-working days or delays in the shortest month of the year. As long as you transfer the money by end of the the last working day of the month you should be fine.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Or just do as I do and fund manually on the first of the month.

Thanks all. I did wonder if it was to do with funds reaching it in time.

Was about to ask the same question about the BOS Monthly Saver.
