Only has to sit there for less than two months with it being a one-off draw, and seems worth losing a minuscule amount of interest to be in with a chance. I was lucky just before Christmas in their Sunny Day Saver draw, so am hoping lightning may strike twice. Thanks to whoever first mentioned the Regular Saver (3) here.1

I have a Principality 1 Year triple access due to mature on May 4th. I had a letter to say it will automatically be transferred into an e saver earning 2.90% on maturity. I had a look online but there does not seem to be an option to give maturity instructions. Instead I went to the message section where there is an option for maturity instructions by message. I asked for £200 into a 6 month saver issue 3 and the rest to be sent back via the linked account. Probably the answer is no but I thought I would ask anyway - still waiting for a reply
Otherwise I will just close and withdraw towards the end of May when I need to fund next months reg savers.
As a result of realising that in April 2026 I had no regular savers maturing a few weeks ago I went through the Principality savings selection and found 2 different ones for OH and myself that we didnt have so that issue is partly solved.
But I am quite liking the 6 month savers - easier than figuring out what I will need in a years time.

Their staff can't do much to it either. You got interest on the 01/01/25, you will not get anymore even when it matures. As when it moves over to easy access it keeps the 01/01/26 as next interest payment. So you need to call and get them to close the account, This gets your cash, plus the extra interest.0 -

Total of £19.95.Hope this saves a few calls to Principality and a lot of time wasted on hold. Thanks to Harriet at Principality for all your help.I had the same, only with a slightly different maturity date.I couldn’t see a closing balance other than the interest paid to 1.1.25, but, as you said, the final interest was made available on closure. However, I was rather bewildered to find that this account, which was active at the end of 5 April 2025, was not included in my end of year tax statement received today. The operator had to ask colleagues to find out the answer.Apparently it was because it was an eSaver, only operable online, and not any of my other online accounts, which are or were also available in branch. They were very helpful and generated a PDF for me - I always find their staff very helpful - but my perception with this one has been that it hasn’t received the usual attention to detail in account management that’s generally been my experience with Principality.6

Have two issue 2 and an issue 3, when each of the issue 2 matures I’m looking to open two more issue 3.0
