Just seen this when I logged into Principality to put in maturity instructions:

    Service update

    Faster Payments

We’ve been notified that the Faster Payment Network is undergoing maintenance on Saturday 17th January.
If you are planning to move money electronically this weekend, you may experience a delay with the transfer. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Seems quite a common occurrence, I remember putting a post on the main board about it last year.

Logged in today, to see that there was a 'Cap Bal Cor' on 15th January on my RS. Reducing my interest from £93.45 to £18.23.
Likewise. Same figures for me as well. Will be interesting to see if there are any different interest values used for other accounts.

Not sure it will be that interesting (pun intended). Do we really need 50 posts telling us that someone's correction was 3p +/- than the last one posted?
Of interest to me to confirm they've done correct calculations per account but probably not of interest to everyone else.

And I've already seen accounts with different figures in the thread that covered this issue. Link to first comment regarding the corrections here Darlington BS massively overpays annual interest - Page 4 — MoneySavingExpert Forum. Maybe to avoid over filling this thread if anyone wants to report their values and/or corrections use that thread. But seems the issue has been fixed.

Same here when checking my month start funding. Just did as they suggested - matter of seconds if you have a password manager.

IIRC I've had that before with Progressive. It spooked me the first time it happened too.

Does anyone know how they handle RS Maturities at weekends? Mine matures tomorrow. I've asked for the money back to my current account. Will i receive it tomorrow, or will it be Monday?

I recently had matured funds go to my current account on a Saturday, so you should be fine.

What happens to the TSB Monthly Saver if you switch out the TSB current account and you don't have any other accounts with TSB?  Should I close down the Monthly Saver before the switch takes place?
