Yes, I’d agree with simply ignoring it - referring them to the fact that they can’t enforce without going to court again whilst absolutely correct, could be seen as a bit “come and have a go if you think you’re hard enough” - ie inviting them to do just that!If they DID decide to go back to court for permission to enforce, then any settlement would be set based on what you could afford anyway, so far as I am aware?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

A CCJ may be extended if it is on the verge of expiring and no payments have been made towards the debt.
However, for this to happen, your creditor must present a strong case for why the money wasn’t recovered within the time limit.
Once 6 years has expired, there is no recourse for the creditor to go back to court, as they are simply out of time.
The judgement expired in 2012, so 12 years ago, Mortimer Clarke can`t do anything now.
