Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

He's still limping spudly. Pretty sure he's gonna have to have it off coz the pills aren't making much difference! :(
  • Well January is almost gone! Have had 16 NSD's which I think is a record for me! :)

Matched betting is going really well. Nearly made my expected profit for February and March already. Not gonna be able to keep this rate up sadly but when I pay the Amex off in full near the start of Feb that will put me 2 months ahead of my current DFD, to January 2009. (damn loan interest :wall:)

Will then have to phone Tesco and see if they accept overpayments and if there are any penalties. If they don't take overpayments I'll have to look for a decent savings account! Me have savings! That sounds so ridiculous! :rotfl:
  • But savings accounts are fun because suddenly the cashiers in the bank stop looking down their nose at you and want to be your friend. :D

  • Yeah but I don't do banks. I'm all online! :D

Hopefully I can make overpayments. I don't think I'll be able to save as well as I can pay off debts!

That makes things slightly more difficult then but could you not just label it as a new challege and then tackle it in the usual way? :D

It's just knowing I'll have all that money just sitting there! :rotfl:

I could buy so much tat! :D

Can you not open one of those horrible ISAs where you actually have to give them seven days notice that you want your money out which should give you long enough to reconsider your essential purchases enough to maybe change your mind? :o

  • Well it's been a pretty good month. Got £430.80 left until payday not including £1,500 I've made from MB'ing.

So call it £2,000 plus the £1,000 for next months debts means in Feb I can clear the Amex card and pay off £1,000 of the loan (if they accept overpayments).

Had plenty of no spend days this month and spent the lowest amount in a month since my lightbulb moment!

    So come March I [STRIKE]should be[/STRIKE] will be sub £10k! :D
