How do you go about getting the flu vaccine if you're not 'on the list'?
I just had a look to see if I could still get one locally (other health issues mean I haven't got round to it this year) and the best place seemed to be the travel clinic. It had lots of availability and cost £15.
Thanks for the responses. I'll definitely be getting this done next year.
As for the not too late - maybe technically not but for me it is. My December holidays have been ruined already now because of this illness so it's too late to change that. If I get ill again then I get ill again. My time off is about to come to an end so it can't really get much worse for me, unless of course I die from whatever illness I get but then I'll not really be able to moan about it then.
I also know it doesn't 'protect' you from everything but if I don't get anything done next year & fall ill for the 3rd year in a row then I'll really kick myself. At least if I get the jab and fall ill I can be Pd off but Pd off in the knowledge I did what I could & I'm just that unlucky.
Wasn't aware the covid jab was so dear though. Slap a name on something & it'll bump the price I guess though. I had the first 2 vaccines when they started rolling them out at the beginning but I've not bothered since then. If it's a reasonable price next year then I'll get it done alongside the flu jab but don't think I'd be paying £100 for it. That seems to be taking the wee-wee a little.
