Hi, everyone, #39 checking in for December and the Year.

£118.62 surveys etc (nice £50 from yougov helped), £33.37 vouchers/points, -£12.71 (loss) matched betting (messed up here and lost!!)

December total = £139.28

Year to Date = £2147.71/£2025

Happy to have made the target in a tough year.   Good luck for 2026 those who are taking part.

#8 wrapping up 2025

Last update on here in May I had £1079.83

Since then, I have been lucky to make £1485 in freelance creative work, £145.31 in savings interest, and £492.82 from other sources - such as cashback, airtime rewards, our future health, prolific, cashback on groceries/fuel with new chase current account, prolific, opinion exchange, vinted.... 

2025 total = £3202.96 (minus a little bit of tax, I'm a low earner)...

i'm a tad late reporting in 2025 tally.
#23 = £585.24.
not that near the target, but was an interesting process to see how interest/dividends/ cashback & mystery shopping could accrue. The missing element was doing some Vinted or Ebay - there was definitely scope to garner a bit more cash. Gonna try harder regarding that this year.
I actually was able to use the proceeds to do a wee trip (38hrs total!) off to Zurich Knitfe$t in November, covered the flights, hotel & part of spending money .

Did well for the year but will struggle to make the same in 2026. Tesco clubcard challenges aren't as good for me now, there's little scope for the misc sales, I've given up on Shopmium. Airtime no longer give bonus for giftcard purchases, although Everup has better rates so will make some of that up.

I last updated in April with a total of £241.75 - I had a very big bereavement shortly after and have not kept track since, but I did win a fairly sizeable competition worth about £500 in the Autumn so I believe my total will be somewhere around the £800-£850 mark with that and various small wins. Not what I hoped, but considering 2025 was a bit of a write-off for me it's not too bad.
