Hi all,
I'm wondering if the thin collapsable plastic box style packaging can be recycled - this stuff: http://www.clearcreations.com.au/images/plastic_packaging_box_13.jpg . Anyone have any idea what type of plastic it is?

If its food packaging its likely to be something like polypropylene coated with polyvinylidene chloride. Unfortunately some of these are recyclable some are not.0 -

Our council have just started recycling plastic and we were told we could put out any plastic but NOT toys or garden furniture... anything else is ok... I was amazed at the amount of plastic there was after just a week .. now I only put out half a black bag of ordinary rubbish about once a fortnight everything else is recycled...#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j
