Is there a chance this will cause mortgage offer to be withdrawn

I've recently had a mortgage approved with Nationwide but 20k of the 25k deposit required is coming from Gifted deposit which was not mentioned on application. Solicitor have just informed me that they need to seek approval from Nationwide for this.
Gifted deposit is from family member and solicitor is happy with documentation provided showing where gift is coming from.
What are the chances of this affecting my mortgage offer and possible Nationwide even withdrawing it?

If you didn't make a truthful declaration on the application then there is always the possibility that NW will withdraw the offer.

Its very unlikley.
I think the only chance of them doing that is if they make the change their end and have to rescore your application. IF (I am not sure if they do) they do rescore it and then IF it fails the score then the offer would likley be pulled.
I cant see them pulling it due to wrong information. If the money was already in your bank account at time of application, its easy enough to argue it was a genuine mistake. If the money wasnt in your bank account at application then thats a bit different but I still dont think it would be enough for them to cancel your application.
All in, I think you will be fine. But I am not confident enough to offer up any guarantees.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. It is very likely this will tip the case over.
Nationwide do have a gifted deposit form for deposits over four figures which will need to be completed and signed by the Donor.I am a Mortgage Broker
