As an alternative - Clever Dripper £20. Excellent. Easy to drive for good consistent results.
Immersion then filtration brew (valve at the bottom). Cafetiere extraction for a few minutes - then stand it on something and filtered so no sludge. Packet ground filter coffee. Or your specialty beans and home grinder. Up to you. Easy to clean.
The only real downside is the use of paper filters. And it makes very good coffee for two mugs. Just not a sensible way to do coffee for lots of people.

I'd say there were 3 things to considerAs Emmia said 2 "1) the cost of the coffee machine 2) the cost of the coffee to go in it." I'd add 3) The cost of running the machineReally hard to check too.The pod thing, my hotel in Italy the staff drank expresso made from Nespresso machine. But then they probably had better quality in the pods. Certainly tasted that way when they sharedBut iced latte I think you probably search for a specific machine for that.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
