MS Spending Limit?

I am about to do my first mystery shop tomorrow and it says it pays £5 for shop fee but then has a £10 spending limit. Does this mean that I can claim back what I buy there? Or claim back petrol?

It sounds to me like:
1] You get paid £5 to do the mystery shop
2] As part of that shop you may be required to buy something - in which case they will refund you for this purchase - up to a £10 limit and no more
As for claiming back petrol, mystery shoppers are self-employed. Which means you could claim back petrol expenses from yourself as part of your accounting/tax return.0 -
Thank you very much PasturesNew. That has made it a lot clearer for me.Make £5 a day challenge - February £54.28/£140
