Dualogi fixed sum sold to NCO Europe - early settlement

My fixed sum loan agreement with Dualogi was sold to NCO Europe. The loan agreement is up to date with no missed payments. I requested an early settlement from NCO and they have given me an amount but have said that this will show as a "partial settlement" on my credit report. Is this something they can do? It's not as if it's an agreed settlement figure for bad debt, but an amount calculated under the fixed sum loan agreement that was transferred to them.

I am now in two minds as to settle this loan early as I feel punished by paying in full.

Thanks

  • It is obviously advantageous to you to pay the loan now to minimise the amount of interest paid.

Don't feel 'punished' pay it off!

You can always get your credit file updated later if indeed it shows as a partial settlement.
