Cheap Widescreen TV

Anyone know any nice deals on a widescreen tv - even better if it has a rack thing below it to stack things on with 2 shelves ;)

Looking for £200 ish - dont know if im being too optimistic!

Cheers

  • Not sure if they come with a stand, but Asda have some 28" widescreen TVs for £169.99 - not in the same league as Sony etc, but certainly acceptable.

Only downside is you have to carry it home yourself (will take 2 of you!)
  • Another option is this one from comet. Its £10 more expensive, but a better known brand and of course you have the option of having it delivered. Total cost with delivery comes to £195, but I think you can save a bit using a discount code too, so might only end up costing you an extra fiver or so.

Yup, sounds familiar - and even better at that price!

As you say, the change will get you a pretty decent stand too - the cheaper end of the market tends to attract 'tacky' stands anyway in my opinion, so at least this way you get to choose :D

    Steve,

If you buy a Tv without a stand, have a look in Index. They have lots of stands still available in my local store at reduced prices.
