If your application is in, then you have passed the credit check.

Nationwide tend to be ok with reasonably large balances, so long as you are not up to the limit. If your available credit is say £15k, then you are only using about 60% of your limit. If your limits come to £10k, they are not as good.

That being said, you will presumably have a low LTV and all things combined your not exactly hitting your maximum borrowing capacity so I think you will be ok.

  • Thanks so I had a text to say application was in so does that mean credit check ok? So their  Gona be looking at my affordability then? My house value is 80k and I'm buying it for 71k so I'm hoping that works in my favour.
