If you took a South West train out of London between 1 October 2015 and 20 August 2017, and held a Transport for London (TfL) Travelcard at the time, you may have been overcharged and you can claim compensation. But you'll need to be quick as the deadline for claims is 10 January 2025.

Tried and tried. Online form not accepted. Have to post a hard copy. Really ??0

Having claimed compensation, on 12th April I received an 'accepted claim' email stating, "RESPONSE DEADLINE TO PROVIDE PAYMENT DETAILS: 21 APRIL 2025", with a link to provide bank details so I can receive compensation. Details seem legitimate, but I'm curious if anyone else received such an email?0

As we say in the piece, it's important to be careful and only submit details via the official claim website.

I have received 2 emails now from settlement@charleslyndon.com and concerned this could be a scam? There doesn’t appear to be any information about this.0

Complete shambles. After them sending me multiple emails - as other posters have said - that look like a scam, i have phoned and emailed them to confirm bank details (which made me nervous). No payment forthcoming. Has anyone actually received compensation?0

Has anyone actually received compensation?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness: People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet. 0
