    The issue is that SIPP withdrawals are a cost to the provider, having to sort tax out for example.
    Therefore an extremely low cost platform is going to have to charge you on way or another.

    If you are with a more expensive platform, then there are often no/few extra charges for a SIPP or withdrawals.

    If the OP is not transferring until his subscription to Freetrade expires it is entirely logical to find out what would happen if they were deregistered before that.
