I didnt know about the reverse advent calendar before, but i think its a great idea. My local supermarket has donation bags by the escalator, you fill up, write whats inside & add a price. I have seen them before just usually buy a couple of extras & put in the trolley by the door. The Trussell Trust is one of their charities, i filled 3 bags on 30/11, with an assortment of easy foods, dog & cat treats & kids selection boxes. I felt proud that i did that for my community & hope it makes this xmas special for the recipients. I havent always been able to.

Well done Goldhawk!!
Some people that go to food banks are so very surprised that they are being given nice stuff. And so many are surprised and say "is all of this for me? I don't deserve all THIS!" It's nice to be able to say to them "go on, take it!" and when they protest it's nice to remind them that they have supported their families in the past or may have the opportunity to support their community in the future.
