Well, I won't be needing the VAT returnsJust remember the faff of being a Ltd company director.
Annual accounts (which will switch to quarterly through the ‘make tax digital’, quarterly VAT returns, business banking which charges for everything, business insurance, etc etc.
It’s a huge amount of never ending cost and admin.
but yeah it'll be more work but it's worth it financially, and also for the optics (the public generally likes to deal with ltd companies I think). 0 -
I was always told that relying on dividends for earnings could be classed as disguised employment, so regular monthly dividends is not a good idea
I always waited till the accounts were done as and knew the profit for the year, then I had a director meeting (yes just me) and decided on an appropriate dividend.
But I didn't have an expectation of what the dividend would be and paid a regular salary to myself0
