Had this email recieved this morning - sounds like a scam or scare tactic to me as surely if they issue a ccj the court decides if i can pay in installements and its not automic removal of goods?

Do debt is noted, nor amount.... i paste the entire email excluding my name below.

Any advice much appreciated, btw his email address is alanhendryenforcementbailiffs@gmail.com which also makes me think a scam, as it´s not a company email address.

Good Morning xxxxxx,

My name is Alan Hendry, I am contacting you from the Goods Removal Team of First Enforcement Bailiffs,

This is to bring into your attention we have received a legal notice against you from your creditor where you are not making the contractual monthly payments

Hence the creditors have approached us in order to get a “CCJ” (County Court Judgments) against you. As a result you will have an attachment of earnings to your Wages/Benefits of £531.10 from the following month,

As you don’t wish to engage with us we will now organized removal of goods with immediate effect,

If you wish to avoid this you have the following options,

1. You can pay your creditor in full and avoid any Attachment of Earnings or County Court Judgment,

2. You can take a Loan Out and pay all debts in full, If you have defaults and have missed your payments towards your debts you might not get it,

3. If you are struggling we can suggest you alternate options or an affordable payment plan

If you have any interest in the above solutions you can reply back to the email and an associate with call/email you back with a solution that suits you the best,

Please let us know at the earliest

Thank You,

Alan Hendry

As you suspect - scam. Google "First Enforcement Bailiffs" with the quotation marks and you will see similar posts on various forums. No trace of the individual on the bailiff register

Yes, scam, scam, scam, improper use of terminology, there`s no such thing as a "legal notice from a creditor".

You don`t approach a bailiff to take legal action, companies do that themselves, and only after a CCJ is granted can a bailiff be engaged, also asking you to take out a loan.

    Delete and ignore.

They aren't even trying with this scam, its full of factual errors and the grammar is appalling.

100% scam.  Quite apart from the factual inaccuracies and appalling grammar, no genuine company would use a Gmail address (or Outlook, or Yahoo, or any of the usual free providers that you or I would use).
Caveat - if you've got, for example, a local window-cleaner or a one-man-band plumber or carpenter or something, then it's possible they'd use Gmail or similar.  But even then, lots of small traders still get an email domain set up with their company name on it.  But that's slightly off-topic - certainly no "large" company would ever use Gmail.

And notice how they have used a long email name to make the Gmail bit show up less.

It's a scam - see the comments above. Nothing will come of it. Report it to your email provider and I believe there is also an official channel you can report scam emails to - yes - there is, see https://www.gov.uk/report-suspicious-emails-websites-phishing#:~:text=Forward suspicious emails to report,( NCSC ) will investigate it.
