Don't you check the codes when you get the replacement?badmemory said:You do indeed it is just a pity they don't tell you they have removed them, especially as they ask you to return your old one so can't check the codes.0 -
I would have thought most people would photocopy (or photograph) something like a licence or passport before posting it?badmemory said:You do indeed it is just a pity they don't tell you they have removed them, especially as they ask you to return your old one so can't check the codes.0 -
Yes but in this case they seem to have been stupid enough to put it in writing!Devongardener said:One the face of it this could be considered age discrimination but in reality employers can say that they apply capability criteria, especially the ability to do a job such as driving.

OP is in their 60s, so I don't think that's going to help the company's defence much!lincroft1710 said:Over 70 you lose the C1 and D1 driving licence categories but can apply for them to be reinstated, but you have to have a medical reportGoogling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -
OP could be 69, but in any case my post was for info only and not suggesting it would help employer's defenceMarcon said:
