NOW pensions emailed with log on details - no knowledge

My partner recently (early this year) consolidated 2 small work pensions (Zurich one from 20 years ago and another) into an AJ Bell SIPP.

shes just had an email from Now Pensions with a log on for her to use, with a log on code.  We’ve never heard of Now Pensions, yet it’s addressed to her, both names, her email address etc.

is it a scam email?

Thank you everyone in advance

Does she still work for an employer? Maybe it is her employer setting it up? Has she asked them yet?

Now pensions offer an auto-enrolment scheme.    So, it would be linked to an employer (current or relatively recent, as in last decade).

It could be - and certainly very sensible to check before going any further.

Now Pensions is well established: https://www.nowpensions.com but that doesn't mean they actually sent the email!

As others have suggested, it's likely to be a workplace auto enrolment scheme, but if she's sure it isn't that, contacting Now Pensions direct to check they really did send the email would be no bad idea.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

thank you all.  After chatting it turns out before she was permanent at her last place, she was a contingency worker for 18 months that we’d forgotten about.  So it will be that.

    Thanks again.

Sadly not… £476 value.  But will transfer it out anyway as her new SIPP provider has been good with transferring in a few smaller, old pensions to consolidate them.
