This is my first post - saw this offer today
o2 are giving away free SIM cards that give 300 free texts or 100 media messages per month, so long as you put 10 credit on the phone.
Seems a pretty good offer
You can order up to 6 of them from the website per household

Has anyone read the terms and conditions at the bottom of that link? Am i misreading it or does it say that the £10 you have to put on each month gives you the 300 texts or 100 pic messages?

If so then you don't get the free texts anyway.

You only have to put £10 credit in each month to receive the free text/media messages quota..other than that you can top up your phone when you feel like it.

No, the £10 is kept as credit in addition to the 300 free texts. It is a very good deal. There is no obligation to top the phone up every month either. Just that every month that you do top up, you get the free 300 texts again.

You can switch to the tariff where you get up to 100 free any network minutes and/or texts instead. Useful for people who don't send very many texts.

You have to top up with £10 and you are only entitled to 300 texts every month. It doesn't matter when you top up after that, (ie 6,7,8 weeks) etc, you still get your 300 texts when you top up. Our three teenagers and myself are on this tarrif and we can't beat it for value. :j

There's a way round it I think...I remember getting a document about it a while back, so that would explain some people selling 100's at a time, can't blame them though, it's O2's decision to give them away free!
