This on behalf of my x as she just passed her test and looking for purchase a car
Would be cheaper to take a loan out once you now price or take on monthly basis payment for the car in question

cheapest 1 litre /1.25 litre with as low mileage as you can find in your areaaygo /fiesta /huyundi etc etc they are bit underpowed if you live in steep hill area but its a first car and most importntly bar far the cheapest for a new qualified driver to insureIMO finance -do not go this routedealers put a large premium on there prices and you have finance premiums on top of this as wellyou would be paying way over the top unless you go for a dealer part exchange car then they are ok1k to 2k if you can afford it in cash is enough for anybodys first car0
