A lakeland product online purchase was followed by a voucher by email a few days later.

The voucher has been spent/used in a completely separate transaction  (£25 off a £50 spend)

The original product is still in its box unopened and well within a returnable period (>30 days) but is now £30 cheaper on black Friday.

We are thinking of returning the original product for a refund (and repurchasing) - will the Lakeland System get into a spin with the voucher situation?

I cant see anything that addresses this in the Ts & C;s - unless the till triggers at the point of return.

Any thoughts?

I don't believe they have to accept a return if there's nothing the matter with the product but you appear to have checked it's possible.

I don't understand what an unrelated transaction involving a voucher has to do with this return and repurchase.

I would think there would only be an issue if you were returning something purchased with the voucher.  So if you bought a pot that cost £90 and got £25 off you would have paid £65.  If you returned the pot you would get back your £65 but not get another voucher for £25 to use for something else.  So if the £90 pot was now £60 you would have to pay £60 to buy it as you no longer have a voucher.

But if you bought a £90 pot and got £25 thus paying £65 that would be completely unrelated to you returning a £50 knife for a £50 refund and repurchasing for £30 less now.

Regarding the above - it was an online purchase collected in store so I am sure a return is perfectly fine.

The purchase above triggered a voucher deal and that Lakeland voucher sent by email has been used to buy something else at Lakeland.  Its this £25 discount that I have a feeling they will knock off the refund amount.

Ill give it a go anyway.

    Thanks
