Thank you all. It’s definitely been challenging at times but I’m either zero or 100 and sometimes that actually pays off (pardon the pun!).Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

I’m trying to use the last week of YNAB and roll over the budget for month 2 but I’m so scared to assign money this month for fear that I’m not going from zero so it’ll be hard to track, because I have reserve left, what if I can’t track how they’re made up (I like seeing how much is from what and when) and I’m worried I’ve forgotten something.Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

Could you make a new category ‘YNAB Reserve’, shuffle any excess off there and then start from zero that way? I’m no guru on YNAB mind! 😉😂

I stuck with YNAB and whilst it’s not stopped me spending that wasn’t necessarily the idea behind it.Life has so got in the way recently but I’ve been back following threads and reading along for a few weeks now and thought I’d commit myself back to my diary at least.Today I found £14 odd on a cash back card so added the minumum amount of a fiver to the card to release it and will use that to stem some loses made recently. Big car expenses in the form of a full service and mot plus fixes costing a total of £570!! It’s a good job my husband has expenses due for said car since it’s seemingly costing more to run since he’s been traveling. That, plus every little extra bit will all help so as to not end up using another fund such as oil or house insurance!Note to self. Budget for this monthly from June.In the Foodi tonight is a batch of yoghurt to see if it will work. Dinner was from the freezer and I think *crosses fingers* that the last supermarket shop of the month has been done. We are over budget so it better be!Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay
