I've been off work with ill health since October fortnightly lines, my line is up today 27/11/24 so need to get one starting from tomorrow, can anyone tell me what day the line will be up , and does weekends count in the 2 week line

Doesn’t the fit note now normally have a specific date on it rather than just saying two weeks?Not sure what you mean by do weekends count? Count in what respect?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

If your GP has been giving you two weekly notes since last October, presumably the same weekly start and end date that they’ve been up until now?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

If it starts tomorrow it will run to the 12th December BUT you need to check the wording of the 'Fit Note' as they used to say 'Until.....' which translates as will be fit for work on the 12th.
