Mortgage appointment

Hi.

I have my mortgage appointment this weekend with NatWest and looking to get more information on what exactly will happen and what questions will be asked.

I had a credit card debt which I paid more than the minimum on each month and eventually paid off in full in March this year - will they question this at all and could this impact getting a mortgage at all?

As long as you haven't missed any payments on your credit card then this shouldn't negatively affect your case. If the debt still existed then they would take it into account in terms of affordability. Since as you say the debt was paid off in March I don't see why they would see it as an issue. Banks do funny things sometimes though.

    That wont be a problem.
