could someone share some light for me please? I’ve had a letter stating lifestyle loans have instructed ACI to manage my account. I’ve only missed one payment, does this mean lifestyle have sold my loan onto ACI, it’s all a bit confusing.
also when I go got DMP do I give them the ACI account or lifestyle loans?
thanks everyone I couldn’t do this without all your advice and support.

Have you spoken to lifestyle loans? If not, do so because the ACI letter could be a scam.

You have answered your own question:
"I’ve had a letter stating lifestyle loans have instructed ACI to manage my account"
They have simply passed the management of you account to ACI, nothing more.
When you start debt management, presumably with stepchange, you give the details of whoever is writing to you asking for payment, keep in mind this may vary as accounts get sold, and/or assigned.

Morning, sorry to pain as I’m sure these sort of questions have been asked millions time, should I ignore anything from ACI as they are only managing the account? No default has been issued by them or lifestyle loans it’s literally only 1 payment missedsourcrates said:You have answered your own question:

They will have been engaged to collect your arrears, not your full balance, so no point in dealing with them at all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
