Council tax reclaim - Entire development banded incorrectly?

Hi All, I'm new here, and trawled through the forums to find something similar but couldn't see anything quite the same as this situation.
I am about to move into a property after purchasing. The property is currently banded at a G.
this particular street was a development built in 1999, and all similar houses in this street are also a G, (there are some much, much larger houses also at a G). The issue I have is I think the entire development may have been incorrectly banded. I assume for all developments built after the valuation exercise of 1991, it was a simple "this type of 4 bed is a G, this type is an F" etc etc.
The only fair comparison I can make is the next street along, where the properties are similar in floor space, build type, garden size and by todays standards, similar value and also the Gardens actually back onto the properties I think are incorrectly banded so whilst it is a different street, it could be deemed the same "estate". All the similar properties in this street are an F. I want to exercise my right to get reassessed within the first 6 months of moving, but feel I have a mammoth task at hand demonstrating anything in road A is F and road B is G, therefore road B is clearly incorrectly banded.
Any help or suggestions, or am I wasting my time trying?

It would be unusual that over the past 25 years, there have been no appeals on houses in your street when the neighbouring street of apparently very similar houses are in Band F, but it does happen. Just quote the Band F houses for comparison and any other similar houses you can find in Band F.
Worst case scenario would be that they find the Band F houses should have been Band G and increase them.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales1
