I wanted to use my Rewards Points to book another IHG hotel stay.
I made the necessary reservation using the Rewards Points option for payment choice but when it come to the final total it stated the additional cash amount due to cover the difference would be taken in US Dollars?
There was no choice option to pay in GBP.
If I pay via credit card surely there is a conversion charge which will cancel the discount benefit of the Rewards Club points?
Is anyone aware of a way to pay in GBP? I tried contacting IHG direct via phone but unfortunately the operator was "offshore" and completely unintelligible keeping me repeatedly on hold before eventually loosing my connection. So infuriating!!
