We want to cut through the hype and check if Costco’s worth it, so this blog includes tips from how to save £100s on fuel to little-known ways you might be eligible to join. We also put Costco to the test, pitting it against the supermarkets and spot-checking prices for 30 items.
We'd love to hear your must-follow tips please. Is it worth it and, if so, which products do you rate? Have you managed to get in by having RAC or AA membership?

I'm a Costco Exec member through my profession. I don't do much shopping there because I don't drive, but I find that it makes financial sense because I get a good deal on contact lenses and on ocean cruises booked through Costco Travel.

The article is incorrect about the food court, the price shown includes the VAT.
Hot food has VAT added if you eat in or takeaway anyway, so Costco need to show the price including it.
So the jacket potato is £2.99 for eat in and takeaway.1 -
