Hi all
Quick question on max loan from Halifax at 90%.
Quick question on max loan from Halifax at 90%.
As context we’re looking to move house, port our existing Halifax mortgage and increase the overall mortgage.
Halifax product guide says the max loan at 90% is 750k, however affordability calculator keyed at 90% gives max loan of 918k - which is correct?

Halifax won't lend above £750k at 90% regardless of affordability. The LTV limit overrides affordability.I am a mortgage broker.
